Manchester Elks and Johnson Brunetti Bring Holiday Cheer to Local Veterans

Johnson Brunetti teamed up with Manchester Elks Lodge #1893 for the seventh year in a row to spread joy to veterans in the area this holiday season. Hundreds gathered in-person for the first time in two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Those who served were provided with warm meals and to-go care packages which included winter coats, gloves, and hats to keep them warm this time of year.

“It’s just appreciation. It’s appreciation and it’s acknowledgment. I’m really excited about the crowd today, it’s the biggest crowd we’ve had obviously even before Covid, it’s a much bigger crowd. We just appreciate our veterans,” says CEO and Managing Partner of Johnson Brunetti, Joel Johnson, CFP®.

Two World War II veterans were in attendance and awarded for their service. Walther Grunder, one of the two honored, will turn 101 in February 2023.
