I hope everyone is doing well and continuing to stay healthy.
Many people have already received their stimulus payments, but millions of people still haven’t. If someone does not have their direct deposit information on file with the tax agency, they will be receiving their stimulus money via a prepaid debit card. This payment method will take the place of a check.
The IRS is warning people to open all of their mail because the envelope containing the debit card could be mistaken for junk. More information on this type of payment can be found here.
