Laurie Tobias

Laurie is Chief Marketing Officer for Johnson Brunetti.  Laurie joined the firm in 2010 and her team is responsible for all marketing and public relations activities, as well as client appreciation events, educational events, referral events and workshops. She works closely with our media contacts and is also in charge of developing and maintaining all our marketing materials, website, social media, sponsorships and advertising. Laurie is always looking for opportunities to grow awareness of our firm in the marketplace among our clients and the community at large.

Laurie enjoys running and biking and has participated in numerous races. She also loves to travel and volunteers to help underprivileged high school kids navigate the college application process.

Karen Purslow

Karen Purslow has been with Johnson Brunetti since 2011. As our Chief Financial Officer, Karen oversees both the finance organization and the human resources function for the company. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has worked both in public accounting and for small private companies. Her experience includes providing bookkeeping, accounting and tax services to small businesses.  She brings over 30 years of expertise in the financial operations field.

Karen graduated cum laude from Nichols College with a BSBA in accounting. Her passion comes from helping others and giving of her time within the community. Karen is currently on the Board of Directors for the Cheshire Food Drive and treasurer for the First Congregational Church of Cheshire. While her children were younger, she was heavily involved in the Whaler Youth Hockey Program as well as the PTO where she served on the board with both of those organizations. She enjoys finding her ‘Zen’ through yoga and meditation and in her free time, she loves spending time with her husband, son and daughter.

Kevin Crawford

Kevin joins Johnson Brunetti as Chief Compliance Officer after a lengthy career in similar capacities. Most recently, he served as Chief Compliance Officer at White Mountain Advisors LLC in Guilford. Prior to that, he held the position of Director of Business Compliance and Head of Strategic Initiatives at The Hartford Investment Management Company, the registered investment advisor of The Hartford Insurance Group. Kevin is a graduate of Trinity College with a degree in economics and of The University of Hartford with a Master’s degree in professional accounting.

Kevin is a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of the American Legion. He is an avid reader and enjoys boating, fishing and spending time with his family.

Lisa Allore

Lisa joined the Johnson Brunetti team in January 2020 after receiving a strong accounting and financial foundation in career roles with both Deloitte and MRG Restaurant Group. As Chief of Staff, she acts as a liaison between the executive team and management. Her well-rounded experiences, professionalism, and positive attitude contribute to qualifying her as an invaluable asset to the team.

Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and serving her local community. Her hobbies include exercising, kayaking, and visiting Lido Beach, Florida whenever possible.

Chris Talia

Chris has been with the company since 2012. As Director of Client Relations, she has a pivotal role in organizing operational plans, cultivating client relationships, and encouraging team development. Her experience, professionalism and knowledge make her a trusted and dependable resource to our clients.

Chris has many interests including reading, cooking and baking, and spending time at the beach. She and her husband are officially empty nesters as they just sent the last of their four children off to college.

Diana Levsky

Diana joined Johnson Brunetti in 2015 and works directly with our Partner, Eric Hogarth.  Diana couples her experience with her exceptional customer service skills, listening to and understanding client goals and needs, and helping devise strategies to address them. She holds Life and Health Insurance licenses. Diana comes to us with experience in Risk Management, having worked both as a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual, as well as working together with the top agents at the U.S.’ largest broker/dealer.

Diana loves to play golf and entertaining in her spare time. She and her husband are retired from the United States Air Force after 26 years of service.

Linda Walter

Linda joined the Client Services Specialist Team in 2019.  She is responsible for helping our Boston clients with their accounts, assisting with paperwork and responding to specific question for our Boston office. Linda comes from a sales account executive background where she was skilled in working closely with clients to meet their product needs.

Linda and her husband have 4 children with whom she loves to spend time and travel.  In addition, she enjoys hiking, fostering kittens and coordinating triathlon and trail running events.

Brandon LaChance

Brandon initially joined the Johnson Brunetti team in 2019 as an intern working in the marketing department.  As he holds a degree in finance, it was a perfect match for him to then work with the specialists helping our advisors.  After graduating from CCSU in 2021, he joined our team as a Client Services Specialist where he is responsible for handling client paperwork as well as responding to client service questions. He holds Life & Health insurance licenses.

Brandon is a sports enthusiast however his favorite sport to watch is basketball.  Other hobbies include skiing, mountain biking, taking his Jeep off-roading as well as being an avid baseball player.

Sjaun Sanderson

Sjaun Sanderson joined the Johnson Brunetti team early in 2020. As a Business / Financial Planning Specialist, Sjaun uses her organizational skills to ensure that all accounts are up to date and new client accounts are established correctly. She is Life & Health Insurance licensed and has an MBA.

In her spare time, Sjaun enjoys traveling, especially to Europe and the Caribbean. She also enjoys yoga, gardening and supporting UCONN’s football and basketball teams. Go Huskies!

Jeffrey Sobon

Jeffrey Sobon joined Johnson Brunetti as a Client Service Specialist after spending more than two decades at Charter Oak Financial, first as a Financial Advisor and later as the Operations Manager for the company’s Heritage Team. He holds Series 7 and 63 licenses in addition to licenses in life and health insurance. Jeff has a wife, Christina, and twins, Willow and Elijah. When he’s not working or parenting, he’s lifting weights and participating in half-marathons and other sports contests. Jeff also plays bass guitar and is an established musician with several endorsements.

Chandler Colberg

As a Client Service Specialist for Johnson Brunetti, Chandler Colberg manages client accounts and answers service questions in addition to assisting Financial Advisors. He joined the team in 2022 after working as a Loan Analyst for Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. Chandler enjoys athletics, having grown up in what he calls a “sports family.” As an undergraduate at Trinity College, he played football and rugby and now enjoys skiing and playing lacrosse. He’s a pro football fan who always roots for his favorite team—the Dallas Cowboys.

Robin Lentz

Robin joined Johnson Brunetti in 2013 and currently oversees the Client Relations Team. With many years of experience at People’s United Bank, Robin has a great knack for multitasking and handling the demanding schedules of our advisors. Robin helps manage our education workshops which are held throughout the year.

Robin loves spending time with her husband, traveling and going to the beach.

Cainan Phillips

Cainan Phillips has been a Client Relationship Coordinator for Team Hogarth since December 2021 and is responsible for managing the team members’ busy calendars, answering client calls and helping with financial workshops. He is a 2020 graduate of Pensacola Christian College where he majored in English and professional writing. After graduation, Cainan worked the front desk at a busy dental practice. Outside of business hours, he enjoys rooting for Boston sports teams and reading literature. He and his wife, Haylee, are the proud parents of a goldendoodle puppy named Jack.

Nina Demeter

Nina is the Digital Marketing Manager and joined Johnson Brunetti in 2017. Her social media savvy and proficiency as a Salesforce Certified Pardot Specialist will help enhance Johnson Brunetti’s position within the industry. In addition to her enthusiasm and passion for marketing, she brings over a decade of experience in customer service and sales to Johnson Brunetti.

Nina loves to sing, dance and practice music in her spare time. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, crafting and relaxing with her cats, Leo and Selena.

Kristen Afasano

With over 15 years of experience in events, Kristen brings a new level of organization and multi-tasking to the Marketing Team. At GAT Sport she single-handedly managed a portfolio of 55+ tradeshows and events from start to finish, and enthusiastically takes on any new task sent her way. Her role as a Marketing Specialist / Executive Assistant involves managing fulfillment requests, details surrounding client events, and providing expert assistance to Johnson Brunetti’s CEO. You can always expect to see Kristen with a smile on her face.

Kristen loves traveling and experiencing new cultures around the world. She also enjoys cooking, kayaking, the winter and likes bacon more than the average person should.

Christine Hurley

Christine works in our Marketing department. She seamlessly coordinates all our educational workshops as well as lending her expertise and talents with our other client appreciation events. Since her 2012 start date, our clients have had the experience of hearing Christine’s friendly voice on the other side.

Christine enjoys spending time with her family…. husband, two daughters and two rescue dogs. She enjoys running and fitness and has completed numerous marathons and races of all distances.

Annie O'Rourke

Annie joined Johnson Brunetti in 2021 as a Marketing Coordinator and is responsible for assisting with our educational workshops and digital marketing efforts.  She has years of experience in event planning, as well as running her own digital marketing consulting company.  Annie utilizes digital media road mapping and multi-channel marketing techniques to engage with audiences and make valuable connections.

Annie is a health and fitness enthusiast and enjoys mountaineering, skiing, sailing, and barre classes in her spare time. Annie also enjoys spending her time traveling the world and trying various cuisines with her husband.

Madeline Pardew

Madeline Pardew joined the Johnson Brunetti team in 2018, bringing with her experience in account management and customer service. She is sure to put her skills to great use as a Client Relationship Coordinator, following up with those who have expressed interest in retirement information, scheduling appointments, and managing some of our advisors’ calendars. Madeline is a problem solver.

Madeline’s zest for life has her calendar routinely full and she wouldn’t have it any other way. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling to warm locales with a beach (preferably), and in general, just being outside!

Michele Matera

Michele Matera joined the Johnson Brunetti team in early 2022 as an assistant to the firm’s Chief Marketing Officer. Michele brings executive marketing and administrative experience to her position, having worked in a number of industry verticals. She enlivens the office with her infectious energy, can-do attitude, and ready smile. In her spare time, Michele enjoys hiking, exploring new breweries and wineries, and a perfect sunset. Her two college-aged sons are the pride of her life, and you’re sure to see a twinkle in her eye when she talks about them.

Lorain Tenore

Lorain Tenore joined Johnson Brunetti in 2022 as the team’s Workshop Event Manager.  She has a wealth of experience having worked in business development and event planning for a national law firm and as a National Account Manager for a printing and custom packaging company. She and her husband call Newport, RI, home and have a son who attends Bryant University in Smithfield. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, entertaining, boating, and arts and crafts.

Kate Mullen

Kate joined our team as Director of First Impressions. In her role since 2016, Kate is the initial point of contact for our clients coming into the Wethersfield office and has helped efficiently manage the day-to-day operations. Kate has outstanding customer service skills and has worked in various customer service-focused roles over the past few years. Her positive demeanor brings a smile to all of the clients she interacts with on a daily basis.

Kate loves to bake, cook, going to trivia nights and spending time with family and friends.

Linda Kaider

Linda joined the Johnson Brunetti team in 2021 as a Director of First Impressions. She has over 25 years’ experience in an administrative role, and she wouldn’t change a thing. She thrives on meeting new people, making them feel welcomed and assisting in any way she can. And her organizational skills are a thing of wonder.

Linda is married to her best friend Todd, has 2 beautiful daughters, a dog, and a cat. The beach is her happy place. She also enjoys trying new foods, shopping, and reading.  And if you’ve ever met Linda, this won’t surprise you, but she loves to make people laugh!

Tanner Debowsky

Tanner is a recent graduate from the University of Connecticut with a degree in finance. He worked at Johnson Brunetti as a financial planning intern and upon college graduation, he was invited to join the firm as a Financial Planning Specialist. Tanner will be assisting the advisors with building financial plans, reviewing paperwork and helping our clients with their customer service needs.

In his free time, Tanner enjoys biking, snowboarding and kayaking.

Jeffrey Ludka

Jeff is a recent graduate from the Pensacola Christian College and joined the Johnson Brunetti team in 2021 as an Advisor Support Specialist.  Jeff oversees client financial plans, new client accounts, handling the client onboarding process, as well as working in conjunction with our specialist team to provide quality customer service to our clients.

In his free time, Jeff enjoys playing sports and was a member of his collegiate baseball team. Some of his other interests include going to the beach with his family where he can be found and playing spike ball with any of his 4 brothers.  His church plays an important role in his life which is why he enjoys volunteering and teaching there.
