Our Philosophy & Approach to Investment Management for Retirement Income & Savings
We’re specialists in managing investments to generate tax-efficient retirement income
There are plenty of firms that manage money, but very few have our depth of experience in managing money for the purpose of generating tax-efficient retirement income.
If you’re in or nearing your sixth decade of life, you undoubtedly want to use your savings to generate a stable dependable stream of future income and hold onto your principal. Asset growth may still be important, but this objective usually takes a back seat to income generation and wealth preservation.
In our opinion, managing investments for retirement income should be based on a holistic view of your personal finances. We’ll help you determine the return you’ll need on your investments and set performance targets in the context of Social Security benefits and any corporate pension income you might receive. You’ll learn how much investment risk you’ll be taking and make sure it falls within your comfort zone. If you’re a conservative investor, as most pre-retirees and retirees are, we’ll help you limit your exposure to market volatility and prioritize investments that offer guarantees or limit the loss of principal. These strategies can add longevity to your investment portfolio so it can produce income for the rest of your life. The last thing you want is to be worried about running out of money instead of enjoying retirement.

Is Your Retirement Portfolio Exposed to Too Much Risk?

The remedy is usually pretty straightforward. Simple changes can result in fewer fluctuations in performance and produce more consistent, reliable returns.
