Aaron Platt is a 16-year-old from Middletown with a congenital heart defect who has faced numerous surgeries throughout his childhood. Recently, this brave young man had the extraordinary opportunity to attend the Formula DRIFT Championship in California, a dream come true for many.

The excitement didn’t end there; in November, Aaron was surprised by Dmitriy Brutskiy, a celebrated two-time Formula Drift pro and prospect champion. This encounter offered Aaron the unique chance to dive deep into the world of drifting, ask any lingering questions, and even experience the thrill of riding in one of Dmitriy’s racecars.
