Giving Back: Johnson Brunetti and House of Heroes Team Up to Support Local Veteran
On Thursday, Johnson Brunetti participated in a meaningful project, shifting from spreadsheets and calculators to hammers and paint brushes, in order to provide assistance to a deserving family. Francis Genovese, an 80-year-old Vietnam veteran, and his wife Deb had been facing challenges in maintaining their home in New Britain. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of House of Heroes Connecticut (HOHCT), we were able to join forces and restore the Genovese family home.
For Deb, the assistance provided not only brought relief, but also offered an opportunity to improve the quality of life for her husband. Completed projects included trimming bushes, cleaning gutters, and installing a ramp at their back door, among others.
She expressed her gratitude, stating, “Asking for help can be difficult. My daughter-in-law reached out to House of Heroes… We deeply appreciate their support, as at our age, we are no longer able to manage it on our own.”
Johnson Brunetti is honored to have the privilege of supporting veterans in our community. We are proud to have successfully assisted seven veterans in the past five years with the invaluable support of House of Heroes Connecticut. We look forward to making a positive impact on the lives of many more veterans in the future.
