Members of the Johnson Brunetti team were honored to visit the Veterans Home & Hospital in Rocky Hill this Veterans Day to celebrate and uplift those who served. It was an afternoon of recognition and remembrance for Connecticut veterans and their loved ones who enjoyed live music and a complimentary meal.

Veterans who reside at the Veterans Home also received socks donated by the Johnson Brunetti team. To show our gratitude, we chose to hand out one of the most requested clothing items for veterans to keep warm all year-round. In this and many other ways, we continue to pay tribute to our local veterans’ courage and sacrifice on behalf of our state and our country.

Heath Grossman, CFP®, who shared heartful words of appreciation at the event, said regarding the team’s donation, “It’s something that you take for granted, but we were told those items that people take for granted like socks, are sought out here.”

The Veterans Home & Hospital provides tailored programs for a wide range of needs, including both short-term and long-term care. The veterans-focused home prioritizes building a strong sense of community and camaraderie for its residents.
