Celebrating Heather Atkins: 2024 “40 Under 40” Honoree
At Johnson Brunetti, we are thrilled to announce that Heather Atkins, CFP®, CRPC® has been recognized as one of the Hartford Business Journal’s 2024 “40 Under 40” honorees. Heather’s remarkable journey from overcoming personal challenges to becoming a leader in financial advisory exemplifies her dedication to making a difference.
Journey to Financial Empowerment
Heather’s story began with a personal drive to understand finance, prompted by her parents’ divorce. She immersed herself in business and finance education, a passion that continues to shape her career today. As a financial advisor at Johnson Brunetti, Heather educates clients and our community, striving to make financial knowledge accessible to all.
Since joining our Wethersfield office as the first female CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Heather has onboarded hundreds of families, managing approximately $150 million in investments. Her leadership extends beyond her professional role; she actively mentors aspiring advisors, encouraging more women to enter the field and promoting inclusive financial education.
A Driving Force in Her Community
Heather’s influence reaches far into the community. She has led Junior Achievement classes, taught financial literacy to middle school students, and shared her knowledge with university athletes. Her role in the Junior League of Hartford, where she has served as treasurer and volunteer chair, highlights her dedication to volunteerism and community betterment.
Guiding over 400 families, Heather empowers them on their paths to financial independence. Her proactive approach and commitment to learning have not only driven her success but also paved the way for others to follow.
