This Week in CT: State income tax took effect 30 years ago; Major donation made to Save-A-Suit

Johnson Brunetti teamed up with Save-A-Suit to gather hundreds of suits, ties, shoes, and more. These clothing items are received by veterans who are transitioning back into civilian life, and it gives them something professional to wear to upcoming job interviews. WTNH News 8 quoted Joel in the article: “‘When they want to go on job interviews, a lot of these people don’t have a ton of money…they don’t have the ability to go out there and buy three of four nice suits,’ said Joel Johnson, CEO of Johnson Brunetti.”

With the help of clients, employees, and more, over 300 suits, shirts, and ties were given new homes. Johnson Brunetti anticipates that the yearly Save-A-Suit tradition will stick around.
