Are You Paying Too Much in Taxes?
On this episode of Better Money Atlanta on WSB-TV, Joel Johnson, CFP® discusses taxes in retirement. There are things you can do to ensure you aren’t paying too much in taxes pre-retirement and during retirement.
A few ways to control some of the taxes we pay are:
- Staying on top of Congress’ yearly tax changes
- Being aware of where you put your money while saving and what order you take it out in
- Having a financial plan that exposes how much you’re going to pay in taxes, when you should take Social Security, and how different assets are taxed
